There is no need for a large deposit or long-term financial loans, just a minimum subscription period and one weekly or fortnighlty payment.

Subscription provides you access to a car but it doesn’t give you ownership of a vehicle.

If there is a car your driving that you love. There is good news. We do turn over our fleet of cars based on age and miles and we do give customers first option to buy the car at the open market price.

To get a car loan you usually need to save up a large deposit, provide lots of documents and fill in loads of forms and then pay interest on the money you borrow. And then there is still a chance that you may not qualify for a loan as credit restrictions are getting tighter. A loan is usually for a fixed term, so if your circumstances change, like an extended holiday, a new job or a new addition to the family it’s hard to get out of the loan and sell your car to get a different one. With a CrazyCar subscription there are no long term contracts, just a minimum subscription period of four weeks. If things change, simply Switch your car for another one or stop the subscription.

A car lease typically locks you in for up to five years and there can often be a big payment at the end. If you cancel the lease before the end there can be large penalties for breaking the contract. A Crazy Car subscription is much more flexible, you can Switch to a different car or stop the subscription.

Please give us at least four week’s notice before the renewal date if you would like to switch vehicles for the following month.

If you would like to cancel your subscription, contact a team member who will run through the details that are outlined in your contract. Your notice period for a vehicle return is a minimum 4 weeks.

The kilometres driven are only taken into consideration when you return the vehicle. We know that some months you might drive a little more because of holidays for example whereas during other months you might hardly use your vehicle.

Extra kilometres are charged when the vehicle is exchanged/swapped or at the end of the subscription (whichever comes first).

Road side Assistance
Unless the subscription specifically selects the premium subscription roadside assistance is not included.  In the event of a breakdown or issue with the vehicle, call 13 36 77  and they will deal with you directly.

Lost Keys, Locksmith Service or Courier Service
Where the key has been lost or stolen, or has been locked inside the vehicle, CrazyCars will either arrange for the spare key to be delivered, arrange for the subscriber to retrieve the spare key, or arrange for a locksmith to attend.

You will be responsible for any costs including delivery, locksmith or replacement keys.

Towing
ln the event the vehicle is immobilised or is not safe to drive, CrazyCars as long as the car is within a 50km radius of Brisbane will transport it to the nearest Authorised Repairer. Any additional towing beyond what is provided above, will be the subscriber’s responsibility.

Subscription is a flexible, long-term alternative to vehicle ownership so you can keep it for as long as you need it.

Routine servicing and maintenance is included. From time to time we may need to ask for the vehicle back to carry out service requirements or to change the vehicle over – in which case we will supply you with a replacement vehicle which may not be the same make and model.

All vehicles are delivered with a full as indicated on the check out agreement. You need to pay for the fuel as you use the vehicle.

Yes. However, if you do not re-fuel, we will charge a fixed rate per litre which will be charged to your monthly fee.

Yes. A full clean inside and out is required. If you dont we will charge cleaning fees based on your subscription agreement.

Our vehicles are not permitted to go off road unless specifically allowed in your agreement.

No pets are allowed in our vehicles unless specifically approved by Us. Additional cleaning fees apply if there are traces of pets.

Smoking is not allowed. Additional cleaning fees apply if there are traces of smoking.

When collecting your vehicle, in addition to paying for your subscription, we require a deposit (as security) to cover any additional charges such as fuel, additional kilometres, and the Damage Liability Fee.

Deposits range in value depending on the vehicle type. This charge will be taken and released upon return of the vehicle in alignment with the Terms and Conditions of your Contract.

Refund into your account may take 5-7 business days of bank processing time to become available.

Our vehicles cannot be used for ride-sharing services.

What Will I Need to Subscribe

CrazyCars just needs a few standard documents to process your subscription.

01. Australian Drivers Licence or International Drivers Licence
02. Australian Medicare card or Australian Passport or International Passport
03. Proof of address
04. Complete a driver declaration
05. Be at least 18 years old and not over 75 years old
06. Have at least 12 months driving experience
07. Not use any subscription vehicle for the purpose of operating a ridesharing service
08. Not have had any criminal, alcohol or drug driving convictions in the last 5 years
09. Have not been bankrupt at any point in the last 7 years
10. Emergency contact person.

The Costs of car ownership

Owning and operating a car is expensive. Car subscription isn’t just the more flexible way to drive, it’s the more affordable way. Depreciation has the biggest impact followed by on-road costs such as dealer delivery, stamp duty, rego and insurance. Then there’s loan interest repayments, servicing and tyres. Bundling all of these running costs of a car into a single weekly fee could save you big, eliminating some of the biggest expenses associated with ownership. An example car below.

Send us your friends name and their number and we will reward you if they rent a car with us for 10 or more weeks by offering you a discount of $25 per wk if they keep the car for 10 weeks or more.  Please note the discount only applies for the period of rental for 10 weeks and beyond. If your friend returns the car the discount ends.

We offer this up to a maximum of 4 referral customers i.e. $100 off your weekly rental or the minimum weekly rental for a premium car of $200 per week. This is our way of saying thank you.
